LATITUDE 14
Latitude 14 is a collective of sound, visual, and theater artists who create works for performance that blur the boundaries of concert, theater, and installation.
Founding members Christina Campanella (composer/performer), Stephanie Fleischmann (writer), Peter Norrman (video artist/filmmaker), and Mallory Catlett (director) began working together in 2005. In residence at New York’s HERE Arts Center from 2006-2009, they created and developed music-theater/video-installation RED FLY/BLUE BOTTLE, which premiered at HERE April 2009, at Groningen’s Noorderzon Festival in August of the same year, and regionally at EMPAC, November 2010. Live-art/cinematic song-cycle TINDER premiered at the EXIT Festival in Creteil, Paris in 2009, and at HERE Arts Center in January 2010.
Artistic associates include designers Miranda Hardy, Mirit Tal, and Jim Findlay, singer & writer Chris Lee, performer Jesse Hawley, multi-instrumentalist Sammy Baker, cellist Erich Schoen-Rene, and sound designers Jeremy Wilson & Charles Shell.
