I’m a photographer and filmmaker in Kigali, Rwanda, my homebase for telling stories all around Africa. I’ve won awards for pictures and stories I’ve produced about agriculture, nutrition, immigration and public health, but I’m happiest when hanging out with my amazing husband or adorable nieces and nephew.
I started my storytelling career as an editorial assistant before moving into business reporting and finally photojournalism. I’m still a reporter at heart, which means I’ll ask you a million questions if you let me (but I’m also a good listener). I love eating my husband’s homemade pasta sauce, reading James Herriot books and running down Kigali’s hills. Running up those hills, however, is another matter.

I speak Korean and Spanish.
