I started in photography after getting a degree in advertising art design, first as a prop stylist then a studio manager. After a friend, then a CD at a major ad firm in Chicago recruited me at my art gallery, I started a ten year career in the biggest agencies in Chicago, ending up as the Manager of Art buying services. Though grateful for my experiences, I missed the full creative end of my job and went back into the art field as a curator and freelance producer. I was then given the wonderful opportunity to work in video/tv utilizing all the skills I had honed in print. I feel my agency experience gives me a unique insight into vendor, agency, client relationships that is extremely needed and valued right now in our industries. The relationships I have been part of the last decade in the mad world of advertising have been the best tools I can bring to all my jobs.
