Lee Yount, Jr. is a Programmer Analyst in the Technology Department at Catawba County Government. Lee has worked in the Catawba County Technology Department for about 3 years and works with several departments to help them improve their workflow with the use of technology. Other items that Lee works with are web programming, and the use of social media to inform citizens and others about services and programs at Catawba County.

Lee is also the co-owner, with his wife, Cathy Yount, of Seize The Photo Photography in Newton, NC. Lee and Cathy leverage social media in their business to reach and engage with their target audience. Lee is also involved in several local organizations that seek to improve Catawba County. A couple of those organizations are the Downtown Newton Development Association, and The Media & Technical GUILD of Hickory. Lee is currently enrolled in Leadership Catawba, a program to inform and network with local leaders in the community.

Lee is a graduate from Western Carolina University with a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a major in Computer Information Systems.
