Les Pastice© is a musical experience run by Marco Scozzaro and Matteo Vaccari since 2006 while drinking Pastis. Both sharing a background of music, clubbing and visual arts, they began to play together as djs, trying to expand the classic idea of dj set. By means of a constant back to back on the decks and a kind of philological approach to music, they constantly navigate through different styles to create original musical textures.
Marco is an artist who works mainly with photography, he creates perceptual installation joining images with sound and light. His works have been exhibited in several venues both in Italy and around Europe. He is also an experimental musician and producer, with features in different bands and projects. Matteo is a dj and producer deeply involved with sound synthesis and hardware sequencing. He often gave his music contribution to art installation (Centre D'Art Contemporain Geneve, Galleria Civica di Modena).
Together they performed both live and djing in underground music clubs in Italy (Link, Bologna), international festivals (Cinemas tous Ecrans in Geneva, Elettrowave, Livorno) and art galleries (Neon Campobase in Bologna and Galleria Civica di Modena).
