After seventeen years in higher education teaching and supporting students, I am excited to announce I am taking a leave of absence from my position as Assistant Dean at Baker University to become a candidate for the U.S. Senate race. As a political outsider, I will bring a fresh perspective to Washington. I believe the people of Kansas are hungry for a candidate who is not a career politician but is an everyday individual with leadership skills and professional expertise in an area that is critically important for the future of our state and our nation.
