I started working in broadcasting as a broadcast engineer in 1969. Over the years I have dabbled in amateur radio, I have been a ham since 1964. I am in my 43rd year of Broadcasting working at NBC Burbank as a broadcast engineer.

I use the JVC GZ HD 7 Video Camcorder with 60 gig hard drive.

I recently purchased the Canon SD1400IS at Best Buy on Sale for $179.00. I am really impressed with what this little camera can do... it shoots in the dark!

I use a Sennheiser Shot Gun and wireless audio microphones plugged into the external microphone input of the JVC GZ HD 7 camcorder. I also have a lot of other audio equipment to use on location projects.

I have a Smith Victor portable light kit for remote work.

I now use use Sony Vegas Pro 9 nonlinear editing software for my productions.

I have 6 computers. Three Dell P4 desktops, 1 Dell Alienware i7 Laptoop, an HP Slimline dual core running Vista 32 bit, and a Dell Core 2 Quad XPS 430 running Windows Vista 64 that does an awesome job with 1080 i video. Vegas Pro now purrs with this new computer.

I also shoot still photography with the Nikon D200 Digital still camera.
