Literally Films was launched in 2010 to bring together broadcasters, brands and organisations to make films that make a difference. We believe that, in a rapidly changing media landscape, there are new and exciting ways to make important, social issue films outside of traditional routes, and what's more, these films have a greater impact and reach.
Since then, our films have been showcased at festivals, broadcast on television, and been part of online and offline campaigns that have raised awareness of issues ranging from sport in schools to organ donation. Our core team are broadcast professionals with decades of experience making films for the BBC, C4, ITV and Discovery, amongst many others. We also founded and co-direct leading filmmakers organisation Doc Heads, that works with London's brightest and best factual filmmaking talent. Our members include Emmy, RTS and BAFTA nominees.
