After the School for Photography in Den Hague I started as a 1st assistant photographer for fashion photographer Marcel van der Vlugt working mainly on location but also in the studio with 8"x10" + 4"x5" Sinar.
Travvelling between Milan, Paris and Amsterdam for fashion magazines and advertising and later as a photographer myself based in Sydney, Australia. By that time I was photographing for the advertising industry only.
After one year I returned to the Netherlands and started with location scouting and production services for photographers shortly after. Became a known face at the Amsterdam advertising industry, when soon Paul Vos got me involved in the filming industry . For Barbizon films, Will van der Vlugt and Blood Simple I soon travelled around the world finding locations for both TV commercial but also for the automotive industry and stills photography like car brochures and adverts for insurances companies, International banks and telecom.
