Lola and Yukao met in the cold winter of 2009 in one of the small underground places for contemporary art and music in Berlin. It was called Ausland. She had come to get inspiration for sound and music, he had come to draw while listening to music. Fate would have, that they came to sit besides eachother, engaging in a deep discussion on art, life and emotions. Very soon they decided to go into a artistic collaboration together, and LYM was born.
