I am a multi award-winning filmmaker, freelance writer, screenwriter and video editor. The projects I have worked on over the past four years have garnered considerable domestic and international acclaim, including two BFI Film Futures awards, Official Selection at the Edinburgh International Film Festival and the London International Short Film Festival, Best Low-Budget Film at the Hitter International Film Festival and the Grand Jury Prize at the University of Southampton Student Film Festival, to name but a few.
I am currently contributing to acclaimed websites The Urban Times.com and Subtitled Online.com as well as producing freelance web content for a variety of clients. I was a semi-finalist in last year’s writemovies.com International Screenwriting Contest and have been shortlisted for the Creative Pioneer Challenge 2012. Since December 2011 I have been in pre-production on a documentary commissioned by the BFI, have commenced work on my debut feature and am also in the process of adapting Lorraine Bateman and Paul Cole’s popular historical novel ‘At Midnight in a Flaming Town’ for the screen.
