I'm a college student and film making is a big hobby of mine. I considered making it my career, but decided to pursue different things although I'm sure I'll always be making films of some sort. Currently I'm working on a documentary that has become my life over the past year, I went homeless for 40 days in Chicago to film it and experience what it was like to be homeless.
I'm a huge movie snob, and would try to watch more if I could afford it, but I'm more interested in making films that are practical and others that express myself and expand others ways of thinking. So typical Hollywood entertainment films usually make me want to punch myself in the face, I don't really enjoy the meaninglessness the typical movies. Movie/Directors I like in particular include: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Minds, Children of Men, I <3 Huckabees, The Life Aquatic/Wes Anderson, The Fountain/Darren Aronofsky and Tim Burton
