Fashion film director and editor, works between New York City, where he lives and Milan, where he belongs. Speed and colour are his distinguishing traits, with a shooting and editing style which harks back and pays tribute to the aesthetic purity of 1920s photography. Head of Video Production for Frankie Morello since 2008, he directed for Hercules Magazine, photographer Mariano Vivanco, stylist Nicola Formichetti, model Amanda Lepore in Sept. 2010; The Blonds, opening video for the show during the Fashion Week F/W 11-12. Documentary on "Anna Dello Russo World Fashion Tour" September 2010.
Bloomingsdale's, model Elisa Sednaoui in 2010; Dazed & Confused, photographer Hugh Lippe, december issue 2010. In February 2011 he edited his first i-D magazine video with Lady Gaga.
During March and April he worked on a video starring Sebastian Sauve for EY! Megateen and he directed the video portrait of Sigrid Agren for Muse Magazine.
In May 2011 he directed the short movie “Tagled Echoes”, starring Samuele Visentin and Sebastian Sauve, for the Milano Mix Film Festival which was very successful with the critics.
After that he made a collaboration with models.com named “Kings of Milano”: a video with the best 25 male top models of that time (included Sam Webb, Paolo Anchisi, Francisco Lachowski, Nicola Jovanovic, Marlon Texeira).
Always in 2011 he partecipeted to the ASVOFF festival in Paris and to the Jolla Film Festival in Los Angels with the short movie “Deep in town” ,made in collaboration with Mariano Vivanco and Nicola Formichetti.
In September he was called to realize video istallations for a new luxury concept store: Excelsior Milano, a building designed by Jean Nouvel.
The month later he signed the editing of “Back Damon”, a film by Anna Dello Russo, starring Karolina Kurkova, for Giorgio Armani and in the same time, Candy Magazine called him to edit the main 5 videos of their last issue.
In November Luca directed also a film written by him and starring by Jamie Wise for Hercules Universal: The Last Obsession; all clothes were by Tom Ford.
The next mounth he directed a video for MFL call "PAz" with all the clothes by the Louis Vuitton fall 2011 collection.
During the last Milan men's FW he filmed 18 of the most important models in the world in the film "#TASTE.IT", an exclusive for models.com; in this project there were names like Simone Nobili, Leebo Freeman, Sebastian Sauve, River Viiperi etc.
