I wouldn't use double framerate (=60p) with 24p (inside 60i). In your output you change it again (so my guess is that it first doubles the lines for each 1/60 frame, then converts it back to 30p?).

You may also want to try cinemode 30p for low-light. It will be less contrasty but with a more natural look (and less blown highlights).

Yeah I was too lazy to remove it. Fortunately tmpgenc Xpress now officially supports AVCHD and it has remove 2:3 pulldown.
However I don't think the choppyness would be completely gone. The only solution is to pan slower.

I use 30p instead therefore. Still decent low-light and better motion. It's only 0.5 stop slower than 24p.
