Luke has done some serious thespian leg-work from all angles of the industry. He attended one of Australia’s top acting schools and soon after graduating worked on stage at the iconic Sydney Opera House.
His first film break was the leading role in Screen Australia’s film Luna and the Moon screening at festivals in the US and Australia. He appeared in television roles on the award winning children’s comedy/drama TV series The Wayne Manifesto and teen-drama Head Start, both for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
Moving to the UK for twelve months, Luke went on to work on several film projects overseen by Academy Award nominated director Mike Leigh.
On returning to Australia Luke was randomly offered a set decorating position on the record rating television show MasterChef Australia. This took him everywhere from Italy to America to China to The United Arab Emirates. He had the opportunity to rub shoulders with guests ranging from the Dalai Lama to Jamie Oliver (a good warm-up for Hollywood perhaps).
Luke is also an award-winning writer and director. His films White Bread and Composure screened in France, Germany, Brazil and Australia and sold for broadcast to network television in Australia.
