Lynn Hughes has a background in literature, art and history and the philosophy of science and technology. She holds a Research Chair at Montreal’s Concordia University, an institution at which she also teaches. She was instrumental in the design and structuring of Hexagram, the Montreal Institute for Research/Creation in Media Arts and Technologies and was co-director (with Jean Dubois) of
the Interstices Research Group for ten years. She recently cofounded TAG, the Technoculture, Art and Games Research Centre at Concordia.
