MAA was created in 2006 with a desire to expand the professional field and seek new horizons in the areas of design and architecture. We decided to establish a firm with a transversal view of architecture and design.

The three partners -Augustín Quiroga, Pedro Castro and Nicolás Galdámes- participate actively in the academic sphere, which provides constant feedback in the areas of design, regarding theory as well as state of the art and application of new technologies in design.

At MAA we understand design as a communication platform where form is the result of content. We believe in the value of design as a tool for transformation and communication, as the generator of identity and experiences.

We focus on creating a particular identity for each project by working with the client and adopting a multidisciplinary view when taking on a new assignment where the integration of different disciplines like architecture, graphic design, industrial design, lighting, and technology, among others, makes the design process an experimental one. In order to achieve this we implement an efficient professional methodology where creativity, implementation, content, and technology connect to develop projects of high quality, innovation and creativity.

As a result, we have gained the confidence of the market, working with clients like BHP Billiton, Antofagasta Minerals, Cesco, Consejo Minero, Celfín Capital, Deutsche Bank, Sony, Kitchen Aid, the Swiss Embassy, and Fundación de Teatro Stgo a Mil, among others.

At MAA we cover four business areas: corporate design, commercial design, staging design, museographic design and exhibits. The work in each area is independent, which gives content to the design and consequently, an identity.
