MABC is not your average Baptist church:

We believe in a creative spirit - so we hosted one of the first performances of Jesus Christ Superstar in 1971.
We believe in a joyous spirit - so we called a minister who was also a standup comedian as our Senior Pastor.

We believe in a giving spirit - so we offer meals to the elderly, a homeless shelter on weekends, weekly children's music programs, AA meetings, and other community ministries.

Most importantly, we believe in an inclusive spirit where all are welcomed. In fact, we are one of the first American Baptist Churches to become welcoming and affirming.
