Mid-Atlantic Community Church is a Bible-believing church. We believe that the Bible, composed of the books of the Old and New Testament, is the inspired Word of God. We believe that there is one true God, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.

God created the heavens and the earth. God created man. His desire is for us to commune with Him and love Him. Man, being of a free mind, chose to disobey God’s commands. This sin created a separation between God and man. Jesus Christ, God’s Son, came to this earth, lived a perfect life as a man and died on the cross for our sins. On the third day, he rose from the grave, thereby conquering death and becoming a bridge by which man can live eternally with God in heaven. Jesus’ act was one of pure love and the bridge He created is open to anyone who trusts Him alone. At the moment we are saved, the Holy Spirit indwells every believer to become our source of assurance, strength, and wisdom.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify Jesus Christ, reveal who He is, and convict people of their sin. The Holy Spirit also indwells, guides, instructs, and empowers the followers of Jesus for lives of service and holy living. He uniquely endows each believer with gifts for the building up of the church, the body of Christ.

We believe that it is God’s desire for MACC to help fulfill the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and the great commandment (Matthew 22:37,40). We do this by introducing people to Jesus Christ and by raising them up to be fully devoted followers of Him. It is our prayer that people here will minister together in a biblical community, which is characterized by life-changing teaching, committed relationships, authentic worship and prayer, and joyful service to others.
