We are Hawaiʻi's young digital storytellers, crafting high-quality commercials, websites, films, and offering an array of digital media services. But we're not your ordinary multimedia company. As a social enterprise on the Waiʻanae Coast of Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi, we're part of an ongoing effort to improve the education and economy of our community. Because to us, it's business... and it's personal.

The founding of Mākaha Studios was a result of the success of Searider Productions, the acclaimed integrated journalism and multimedia program at Waiʻanae High School. Many of us have roots in SP, went on to college, gained professional work experience, and returned home to practice our craft.
