Welcome to our showcase of work by students on Foundation Degrees (FD) in New Media Design and Animation.

These are two-year courses providing the knowledge, skills and experience to develop a career in the animation & digital design industries. We focus on moving-image and interactive products for contemporary platforms and formats. Students produce motion graphics, short films, social media, DVDs, outdoor and mobile content for commercial, public and community clients.

These courses are validated by Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and based at Manchester College, Fielden campus. We teach a combination of studio projects & live briefs: students respond to international competitions and submit work to film festivals. They have produced moving-image work for broadcast TV, record labels, galleries, and websites.

After FD, our graduates can progress into the 3rd year of a BA degree or pursue employment or freelance work.
