Márcia Sousa was born in Lisbon and was raised in a village just south of the portuguese capital. When she was 18 years old, and after her application for a multimedia course being refused, she went to the film school in Lisbon and gave her first steps in film business. After getting graduated in Cinema, Video and Multimedia in 2012, she started an intership in a portuguese video production company where she worked for 1 year. In January 2013 she went to Munich to attend a 2 weeks workshop at HFF München (University of Television and Film Munich) but ended up missing wittingly her flight back to Lisbon in order to stay in the bavarian school for few weeks more. And that was the best decision she could ever took!
April 2013 was the beggining of a new phase when she moved to London to start a new internship in a film production company. The time to work in a real film business had finally arrived!
