With over 10 years of experience in graphic design, advertising, film, and animation, Marek is truly a multidisciplinary designer.
For the last 8 years he has worked at Wieden+Kennedy Tokyo, collaborating with clients such as Honda, Nike Japan, Google, MTV, Sony Playstation Japan, and Sony VAIO. He has taken on the role of designer, art director, photographer, illustrator, and animator interchangeably throughout many projects that he has been a part of. And recently he has joined JKD Collective as a visualist.
His multidisciplinary approach to design comes from a passion to play the roles of craftsman and inventor in order to visually and conceptually bring an idea to life.
Some of Marek's accolades include having his personal work featured in publications such as STASH MEDIA, and Rock Port. Being invited to speak at Plus+ International Conference in Birmingham, England about experimental typography and exhibiting personal work at the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz, Germany.
Marek was born in Krakow, Poland, but grew up and studied design production at the SCHOOLOFDESIGN, and design theory at YSDN, in Toronto, Canada.
Marek currently lives in Tokyo, Japan.
