She left New York for the West Coast in 1970, and embarked on an acting career in Hollywood that spanned over two decades. Margie guest-starred in films and television series, and was the “quintessential mom” in countless commercials. In the late 70′s and early 80′s, Margie combined her acting with a career in teaching. At the famous Lee Strasberg Institute, she recognized the need for a good cold reading and audition technique class and founded the Margie Haber Studio in the ‘80’s.
