Marina Satti, half Greek- half Sudanese, was born in Athens, Greece. She started taking piano and voice lessons when she was 10 years old. In September 04, she made it into the Architecture department of the National Technical Univeristy of Athens, but deep inside music was what she wanted to pursue. During the years 2004-2009, she earned two degrees in classical vocal performance and in advanced theoretical musical studies. In the meantime, she was singing professionally and had become one of the most demanded artists in the Greek and European scene. In September 2009, taking advantage of her Berklee College of Music Scholarship, she moved to Boston to continue her studies abroad. There, Marina earned a baccalaureate in Contemporary Writing and Production and discovered her passion for composition. Today, she lives in Athens, writes, arranges and produces her own music.
