Marisa Wong is a freelance photographer and visual storyteller. Born in Pennsylvania, raised in Honolulu, and residing in Brooklyn, Marisa is currently pursuing a Master's in International Affairs and Media at the New School in New York City. Her work, gathered primarily from travels in North and West Africa, aims to bridge cultural divides and raise awareness. Most recently, Marisa was selected as one of five student finalists for a contest with Nicholas Kristof, an op-ed columnist for the New York Times.
