YES! The H4n is fantastic to use for audio capture and also as a preamp/phantomPS. I have a Sennheiser K6/ME 66 setup that I use with custom cables when I need an on-camera mic that runs on battery. Thanks!

The sound is brilliant! I'm looking to get this mic and I believe that the sound is just as important as the look, as well! I use a 5D Mark II and I'm glad I found this video. So you recommend recording the mic into a H4n instead of the camera?
