M.F.STUDIO is basically just me – Martin Fiala. I’m making LEGO movies since 2005 using classic Stop-motion animation technology. From the early beginnings, I’ve always been supported by my whole family. In 2009, I met my two great colleagues and friends – Nikolas Rigo (Spolek Amatérů) & Marek Erben (Animark-film) and I can’t imagine making movies without them now. The production of the first live-action movie (which I created with my friend Vilém Musil) – Bloody Sushi – started in March 2011 and since that time, I’m focused on making live-action movies also, thanks to the movie club in Brno – Lávka Studio. During the period 2011-2013, I’ve directed 5 live-action short movies (including iMurder and Civil War). Now, I’m finishing my next animated movie based on the novel by Ian Fleming – LEGO Moonraker 007 (coming out in 2013).
