MATHIAS WALTER Plus
Mathias was born in Strasbourg, east of France. He studies American Literature and in the meantime photography in night lessons. In the army he forms himself onto photo lab crafts. Soon after he gets interested in the film (cinema) lightning techniques and does a few video clips as a director of photography (DOP).
In 1999, after two years assisting photographers he starts his own work in fashion, mixing cinema lightning and chemical technics and photography.
In 2004 he creates his own magazine, the printfolio.TM (le-printfolio.fr).
In May 2008 he creates a small production company based on still and animated filmed image called Schhh and starts directing advertising film projects.
In December 2008 he enters GAMMA, a famous press agency.
He now works in Paris and elsewhere as a fashion photographer and as an ad film director.
