I have recently moved from Sarasota, FL to Washington, DC
to take a job at American University as the Director of University Video. This is a new position at the University, and it is my responsibility to set up and promote a multimedia production facility similar to the one I created at BGSU. Our purpose is to produce a wide variety of videos and multimedia projects for people, groups, organizations, offices, and departments around the University. It’s been great so far. In the first few months on the job I’ve produced a video featuring President Obama and helped develop one of the most innovative university branding initiatives in recent history.

I.e. the old saying that the best camera is the one you have with you. Tough to carry around an Arri Alexa in your pocket. I too was impressed by the iPhone quality.
