As an artist working with sound, moving images, and collage, my work combines the formal and conceptual qualities of each medium. Hoping to use art democratically and to reinforce community, my work is inspired by the everyday and by the limitations of DIY methods. I recently started to work with found and cultural materials after taking interest in the theoretical ideas behind remix culture, believe that the current state of information overload can be remedied by remixing and recycling these materials.
