Meredith Drum creates cinema projects as linear screenings, interactive exhibitions and mobile media walking tours. Her work has recently screened in New York City at a range of venues including the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Swing Space 2013; the Last Brucennial 2014; Green Screens at the Film Society of Lincoln Center 2013; special projects at the SCOPE art fair 2013; Shelia C. Johnson Design Center at Parsons 2012; the Bronx Museum of the Arts 2009; Galapagos Art Space 2009; Fales Library at NYU 2008; Anthology Film Archives 2007; Participant Inc. 2007; and Monkey Town 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006. Internationally venues include Filmambiente International Environmental Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro 2013; Cinema Planeta Environmental Film Festival, Mexico City 2012; iDocs Interactive Documentary Symposium Bristol, UK 2012; Artport Projects at Focus 09 during Art Basel;; and Museo Valenciano de la Ilustración y la Modernidad, Valencia, Spain 2009. Additionally, her work has been published online on the New York Times Tmagazine 2008; and Good Magazine 2008. Grants and residencies from the Wassaic Project, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council; NY State Council on the Arts through Wave Farm; the Experimental Television Center; the Bronx Museum of the Arts; the University of California Institute for Research in the Arts; HASTAC; and ISSUE Project Room have provided support for her practice.
