Mercado Austin

The Mercado is an anarchic open market where artists can sell their work directly and showcase ephemeral works, at a big party in an historic East Austin house, with live music, refreshments and dancing, several times a year.

Our goals are to make art more affordable for more people, to help artists make a living making art, and to provide opportunities for artists to exhibit non-commercial installation and performance art.
