Mert Yasar was born in Pazar, Rize where he lived until he finished high school. In 2008, he acted in "Maca Bes" and also worked as an art consultant for the movie. In the same year, he joined "Micmuss Film Entertainment". He both acted and worked behind the cameras in "Yagmurun Cocuklari (The Children of the Rain). Mert is currently studying Mechanical Engineering at Black Sea Technical University in Trabzon. In addition to filming, he is also interested in Classical Turkish Music and philosophy.
