It's traditional Mexican iconography... watch closely and you will see that it incorporates the rich history of the country and its culture... from the pre-hispanic or pre-Columbian elements (Maya or Aztec) before colonization hundreds of years ago, to the present, covering several important periods of its development, including a chauvinistic mentality (macho man with a gun) that is slowly dying, but still present in many ways (unfortunately), in the same way that certain images and expressions of male "superiority" still plague other modern societies, like the U.S.

This is an honest look at the past and future of sex in México-- and a superb one at that!

And trust me... it is meant to do anything BUT discourage sex.
