Composer, performer, with a keen interest in the visual arts and design. My video work is concerned with what I'm calling "time-based still life." It's non-performative, and non-narrative. I'm in quest of the "indecisive moment," locating a contemplative state in the everyday environment, pointing out the mundane, and allowing things to be what they are. I compose a soundtrack for each video as I'm working on it, so the music and video come together about the same time.

I'm inspired by the work of photographers such as Anri Sala, Uta Barth, Laura Letinsky, Miles Coolidge, Andreas Gursky, Candida Hofer, and William Eggleston. My favorite filmmakers would be Joseph Cornell, Guy Maddin, Maya Deren, David Lynch, and Olga Mink.
