Hello all, thanks for visiting. I am currently living in Doha, Qatar (yep, a tiny country in the Middle East) working as an assistant professor at Virginia Commonwealth University Qatar. I teach all areas related to graphic design, but focus more on motion graphics, interactive, interface and time-based media things. Previously I taught time-based design at Michigan State U.

I worked as a graphic/web/motion designer in Minneapolis, MN and Portland, OR for several years (1996-2003) and received an MFA from RISD (2006). I hope to start making more motion related work again, but for now I seem to be consumed with teaching, research and several travel adventures.
