Finnish metal band Backstabbing Bastard sounds suprisingly tight despite the young age of the group. The band's thrash-based music is a mixture of brutal and sensitive elements creating an authentic style. Strong melodies and crushing riffs go hand in hand in this mixture of melodic death metal and even groovy thrash metal. The alternation of growling and melodic singing works smoothly bringing appropriate contrasts to the overall picture.
