No matter the surface, be it canvas or film, wave or concrete, the artistic expression is universal and transcendent.

Asher and I met years ago on a distant beach, cool sand under our feet, dawn flaring on the horizon. Waves thundering on the sandbar. But it wasn’t barrels or pools that united us, but our passion for art—his painting and film-making, my storytelling. An artistic bond that bore Modus.

Our goal has always been simple—cultivate projects that support the positive growth of all artists involved--be it film, zines, or art shows, we have always sought to engage and give back, and in turn fuel our own passion.

MODUS represents the integrity of process. The process of working your medium and refining your craft, all with the singular hope of grasping those precious seconds where creativity flows and time ceases to matter.
