Kevin Morosky is a London based photographer and videographer, with a passion for point and shoot and .35mm. Core themes include reportage and documentary. “I never try to create a picture, I never have,” says Kevin. “The perfect shot is all about waiting and capturing a moment, a feeling.”

Those latest moments have seen Kevin documenting Pony's collaboration with dynamic design duo Dee and Rickey for a launch at Parisian style mecca and concept store Colette, and following rising musical star Jessie Ware as she records her debut album at the Red Bull Studios.

His work has been featured in i-D, The Guardian, The Fader, Dummy, Time Out New York and Metro, has been commissioned by the likes of Dazed & Confused, Vice, Nylon, Attitude, IDOL, Oh Comely, The Super Super and RWD. He has also been invited to showcase by Ones To Watch New Wave – part of – an online magazine of original content championing the fashion industry's bright new lights.

Kevin is currently working on 'Track 12 And His Barbour Jacket,' a multi-arts project based around a collection of his own original 'cut and paste prose.' It will include a short film, spoken word performances and an original score, in collaboration with Jack Penate, Terri Walker, Gorillaz and SBTRKT singer/songwriter Roses Gabor and Williamsburg-dwelling poet Daniel IB.

Further into the year, actor Billie Piper will be the focus of an exploratory project, documenting her life as she makes the transmission from stage to motherhood; a collaboration with Urban Outfitters to raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation is in the offing; plus Kevin will be reunited with clothing label GRIND and founders Youssef and Barney to launch Cafeune, a t-shirt line incorporating a digital platform showcasing ‘a messy beautiful heap of imagery, thoughts and words.’

Kevin has also recently documented Kelly Rowland, shot musicians Ghostpoet and Marques Toliver, as well as acclaimed sculptor Andrew Logan, playwright Polly Sternham, actresses Mischa Barton and Ashley Madekwe, and celebrities like Peaches Geldoff.

“Every picture is a freestyle,” he says. “I shoot on film mostly, so I don’t have the luxury of looking to see if I got the shot or not. It's a one take affair. Photography with feeling – that’s much more inspiring than run-of-the-mill re-touched images.”

Nan Golding, Terry Richardson and Robert Frank remain benchmarks; and the ultimate inspiration? The Notorious BIG: “Each line in his raps is like a snapshot. I can’t rap like that, but I can snap like that.”

Kevin also runs cult 90s hip-hop club night Bounty, has hosted parties for Diplo and Buraka Som Sistema and DJ'd for hip-hop stars Lil' B and GIGGS.
