I was born in Banff, Alberta, Canada. I worked as a full time mountain guide for 20+ years. I have now decided to put all the climbing knowledge I have gained into video lessons. You can't really learn to climb online but it is a great place to gain a little knowledge before taking your course from a professional guide.

Popularity grew from there and I have now decided to make this video internet thing my thing. As you can see I own mountainguide.com which lets you see how I can think ahead. That domain has freed me from ever working for anybody but myself.
