Ryan Smith, based in Nashville, TN is an entrepreneur with a drive for entertainment value, media development, and a heart for social justice. Ryan has immersed himself into the production and advertising industries, earning him a wide range of diverse experiences and skills while rapidly ascending through the ranks gaining a sterling reputation for superior quality work and strength in relationships.
With over 100 media credits, Ryan’s production experience includes projects with Keith Urban, Norah Jones, Def Leopard, Neil Young and many more. Additionally he has worked with several networks ranging from MTV and VH1 to ABC, NBC and CBS.
In 2007, Ryan transitioned into the world of marketing and advertising as an Experiential Marketing Account Executive for Advent Results. By overseeing accounts from initial creative conception to implementation and delivery, Ryan was able to serve clients including CMT/MTV Networks, CAO Cigars, VF Imagewear, and Bridgestone/Firestone Tires. Through his role at Advent, he was able to sharpen his management acumen by working intricately with the design, project management, logistical, and managerial teams.
Alongside Bobby Bailey, co-founder of Invisible Children, Ryan formed The Brave. Through this opportunity, he had the unique privilege of combining his passion for social change with his background in production and management. Additonally, he managed renown recording artists Young Buck and Shelly Fairchild and also built and launched the TD1 (thedominant1.com) brand.
Today, through his newest endeavor – Mountiview Creative – Ryan has aligned with some of the best and brightest talents to build value through the individual and collective worlds of films, social media, PR, marketing, design, web and technology development, music, book publishing, and even production of live events.
