J. Stone Plus
While he most recently gained acclaim for his nationwide TV debut as an American Idol Season 9 Finalist, J. Stone began beatboxing in 2001 out of an urge to continue “drumming” while physically away from his drumkit. He has since beatboxed for a capella groups, shared the stage with artists from San Francisco’s DJ Mei-Lwun to Israel’s Coolooloosh and performed as far as Kathmandu, Nepal.
Part human beatbox, part live looper, and all world citizen, J continues to explore the infinite possibilities of the world's most versatile instrument: the human voice.
