I have always taken to the moving image over the still one, because of my background in music. In 2011 I attended my first filmmaking workshop which was put on in collaboration with Ryerson University and TIFF. This year I have been studying Processing, and finally got my Kinect which I look forward to using.
I currently edit using Sony Vegas, and produce music in Ableton Live, however i'm not a fan of using such white-label products at the moment. They are a fantastic stepping stone though.
I picked up a great quote recently which sums up my goals pretty well - "technology isn't the point". So i'm sorry for going on about the tools that I use, but I figure it's still relevant.
