Ms. Bea was born in Montevideo, Uruguay and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she studied Visual Arts at the University of Buenos Aires.

Her passion for image and sound spurred more than a decade of notable projects. Ms. Bea began a career as a DJ in 1999. In 2000 she played at Club Morocco, one of the most influential dance clubs in South America; and became a frequent Dj guest of Brandon Gay Day, a queer collective crew in the underground scene. Her love of visuals leads her to take courses with renowned Argentine photographer, Ignacio Iasparra. Subsequently, she began showcasing her work in the emerging Buenos Aires' art scene.

In 2002 Ms. Bea moved to Los Angeles, CA, where she and partner, Santiago Garfunkel, started the web-design studio Linealmedia. In 2003 she co-founded PixelUp, a collective of artists that have displayed a variety of visual works at several Los Angeles events, including Create Fixate and Early Bird (a multimedia experience created by artist Rodolfo Juarez.)

In October 2008 Ms. Bea and fellow argentinean artist Jimena Sarno created and produced "El Miedo" a frame by frame animation based on an Argentinean myth as told by Eduardo Galeano in his book "Memoria del Fuego". The movie was launched on gothtober.com/ARCHIVE/2008/index.html #24 and was selected for Ann Arbor Film Festival's Animated Forest program.

In addition to her work as a designer for her online t-shirt’s company: ablanksheet.com; Ms. Bea is currently working in several projects that includes sound and visuals and its synergy.

Ms. Bea's interest in digital creativity is paralleled with her love for detail; sense stimulation, abstraction, minimalism, fragments of time, and the nuances of light...and the concept that so much magnificence exists that is easily ignored in the inertia of our modern lives.
