Writer/ Director Mustapha Kseibati has made 4 short films in the past 4 years. Both ‘Big Tingz’ and ‘Skateboards and Spandex’ were made with support from the UK Film Council and B3 Media. He directed his 3rd short film ‘Painkiller’ for the BBC Writersroom, which premiered at Rushes Soho Shorts Festival 2012 - in competition for best short film. Mustapha recently completed his 4th short film, ‘A Tender Christmas’ written and starring Jason Manford as part of Sky’s Little Crackers season.
Mustapha was featured as a Screen International Star of Tomorrow 2012 and was mentored by Writer/ Director Paul Andrew Williams through the Guiding Lights initiative. He is currently prepping his 5th and final short film, a kid’s comedy drama called ‘Mohammed’, which was selected for funding by BFI Shorts 2012. He is passionate about making films that are meaningful, filled with action, adventure and comedy.
