At 16 years of age, the boy Michael Wilson Agnew became the artist known as MYC Agnew, and that became his Official Identity at 18 years of age when it was published on his diploma from Grapevine High School in Grapevine, Texas. The journey to become that artist started in the trailer parks of Corpus Christi, Texas; where, in kinder garden his teacher pointed out to his mother that he drew a three-dimensional mailbox with shading and a shadow cast from the Sun. His desire to create never ended, but a piece of paper would never be enough for all of his ideas. He decided feature films were the only way for him to express his full creative vision. After two years of college at SWTSU, training as a decathlete for the Olympics and off course from his original goals, fate would intervene to put him back on the fast track to his destiny. You see, his heart had been broken by a girl, which threw all that he had worked for off track. Until finally, he cleared his head and started to put his life back together. Training at Gold's Gym in Austin, Texas, preparing to regain his scholarship from The University of Texas and get into the film program he had prepared for, he ran into Laura Dern, who was shooting "A Perfect World" with Kevin Costner and being directed by Clint Eastwood. Laura said: "You should be an Actor with that look of yours"; and astonishingly, in a few days a woman came into the gym and asked him if he would be interested in playing the Lead-Role in the feature film "Blue Days Lost." Realizing the potential and amazing coincidence, he accepted and immediately put his all into the project. Living at the production house in Houston, Texas, he got his film training after all in a two-month crash course of actual production. On June 17th, 1994, he took a one-way ticket to Paris, France to become a Top-Male Model (a title not yet invented), knowing that was his best chance to get the film noticed and his career started. He did not know it would happen so fast however, and within three months he had shot the Versace Campaign with Bruce Webber and was on his way to shoot the first major Gap Campaign in which they started using celebrities. His Gap Campaign was everywhere in the fashion world! Working with Testino, Meisel, Klein, Hilfiger and all the greats on campaigns, magazines, runways, branding and anything high fashion had to offer; finally the little film that got him started played in New York City's Angelica Theatre and he knew it was time to arrive in Hollywood. So, in standard fashion, he dropped all he was doing and went to the next phase in his filmmaking career. July 5, 1997 he cut off his well-known long blond hair (Immortalized in the movie "Zoolander" by Owen Wilson's character Hansel) and went humbly to begin his next step. Greg H. Sims, who put George Clooney in his first film, did the same for MYC Agnew within a short time of his arrival to Los Angeles... Before that relationship could develop fully however, MYC Agnew realized there was one important part of his creative path he knew nothing about. He spent the next ten years focused on studying, writing and performing music and how it would impact an audience in a Film's Score. So while gathering alliances in the film industry, he had a charity band called SOL sponsored by Gibson Guitars and raised money for Macy Grey's M:Grey Music Academy. With his band he met one of his greatest allies in Chandler Bridges (Engineer and Mixer for: Bette Midler, Hilary Duff, Snoop Dog, Julio Iglesias , and so many more), who produced his Charity EP - MYC/ROX/SOL. Now his lessons were complete and he began to act and produce once again. This time he would be aligned with Greg H. Sims in a new way, as VP of Acquisitions and Development for Vesuvio Entertainment, while remaining in front of the camera in various projects such the epic thriller Brando Unauthorized, by Damian Chapa. Finally, this led to MYC Agnew's first Independent feature film from his own company, Liquid LYT Productions', "Alone" - the only thing to fear is yourself. Determined to make his IP protected Business Model for Micro-Budget feature filmmaking become an understood medium in the art of film making, MYC Agnew realized he would need his own capital to be able to control the creative environment and budgetary constraints of his New Hollywood Deal. Thus, this Indi-Film Maker struck a worldwide deal between Elite Model Management and himself. Giving him the ability to model once again at the age of forty, acquire "Icon" Top-Male Model Status and have his own finances in order to begin his second feature film, "StormDrain"- the scariest kids movie ever made.
