Internationally recognized multi-media artist Natasha Beste is best known for her innovative audio and video experimentation. She uses narrative and documentary styles to create complex, compelling mixed media video artwork. Her music videos have been featured on MTV Networks and her documentary work has helped multiple organizations win special award funding for their media arts programs. Natasha also produces and performs original music with her three-piece experimental garage/art rock band, Odd Hours.
Natasha received her B.A in Media Arts from Wayne State University. She has designed, developed and taught video production and animation courses through Living Arts, the Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit, and Y-Arts, serving both neighborhood programs and Detroit Public Schools. She has also taught media arts classes at Wayne State University and the Detroit Film Center.
