One would think in this day and age windtowers could be built without disturbing the surrounding areas by building roads.Transporting units and parts by helicopter to individual sights and future access to the sights by all terrain vehicles.
But the ideal would be smaller individual wind/solar for each home. An less dependance.
Wright unfortunately is not being honest (or accurate) in presenting solar energy as a solution. Solar is also an intermittient type of energy - especially in Vermont. So if wind is not an alternative to VT Yankee, then neither is solar. Moreover, solar energy is about 3 times more expensive than wind. So Wright offers no solution.
