Tim Newton, aka Success, grew up in the inner city of Los Angles, there he found his passion for the hip-hop culture. He attended college at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia, where he rededicated his life to the Lord, received his calling to youth ministry, and founded New Nation Ministries, Inc.
After receiving his bachelors in Civil Engineering, he experienced a near fatal automobile accident causing him to be in a coma for 33 days, and then paralyzed for a season. After recovering, he decided to follow God’s total leading for his life and go to Tulsa, OK, to pursue a Masters In Divinity at Oral Roberts University.
While in Tulsa, God lead him to attend Victory Bible Institute where he was able to utilize his gifting and creativity in youth ministry. He has had the opportunity to travel to over 25 countries with Pastor Billy Joe Daugherty ministering the gospel to youth and all ages alike. He also pastored an inner city youth ministry where it grew to over 300 youth in a year’s time under his leadership. He met and married Nichole during his time in Tulsa, OK. Success desires to utilize his creativity with media to reach this urban sight and sound generation. He is the host and executive producer of WAY TV. His message for young people is to rise up and take a stand.
